Cheer up Sue, tonight it's vindaloo...
And it burns, burns, burns, the ring of fire, the ring of fire.
And it burns, burns, burns, the ring of fire, the ring of fire.
I had the same bloody trouble about three nights ago...
I come in, about half-past eleven at night, we'd been having a couple of drinks I remember - and I come in, I get into bed, you see, feeling quite sleepy, I could feel the lids of me eyes beginning to droop - a bit of the droop in the eyes - I was just about to drop off, when suddenly, 'tap, tap, tap' at the bloody window pane - I looked out - you know who it was?
Who?
Bloody Greta Garbo! Bloody Greta Garbo - stark naked save for a shortie nighty. She was hanging on the window sill, and I could see her knuckles all white...saying 'Peter, Peter...'
An appeal on behalf of the Dian Fossey touched me as an infant rehabilitation fund...
Young Gigi didn't ask to be a part of renowned primatologist Dian Fossey's pioneering 70's research program and has since found it difficult settling back into normal gorilla life.
By generously donating just £5 a month you could help us provide a DVD player, TV and a copy of 'Gorillas in the mist' for these majestic but desperately bored creatures...
BROOK INLAYS.......GET YOUR BROOK INLAYS........
A lot of brook guitars inlay individualisation has been finished at the workshop recently, a nice oak leaf design, some initials on a heel cap along with a Celtic design based on a customer's pendant & finally a little shinyback victim of the diving blingfisher for BAS (Brook Acquisition Syndrome) sufferer Tony Kerry. You can also find these pictures on the new brook guitars website in the news section along with more pictures of our beautiful guitars.
Always remember you're unique.......just like everyone else

Why, that's some mighty fine fantastically flamed maple you got there...
Getting a decent picture of my inlay work is always tricky, it's difficult in a single image to convey the depth that the grain of the wood naturally gives the finished pieces and to show just how much the flame and grain pattern changes when viewing them in three dimensions.
To give you a better idea of this. I have scanned this Alphonse Mucha design four times, rotating it 90º between each.
"Call that a fretsaw?...Nah, THAT'S a fretsaw"
Got myself a new fretsaw from the wonderful world of eBay this week.
"What is the depth of cut on that fretsaw exactly?" I (don't) hear you ask......Well just you hang on to your hats because it's only a whopping 11"
Awful syntax in this title used there is...
"Well, I'm not Yoda............O.K, I'm Yoda"
"No, I will not teach you the ways of the force............O.K, I'll teach the ways of the force"
